Arielle Free's meteoric rise in the dance music
industry is an earnest one. From humble beginnings,
the young Glaswegian has grafted for many years
dedicating herself to her talent, constantly evolving.
Fast forward to 2021 and Arielle has become a key
figure in the music world, continuing to shape the
musical landscape around her and every bit
influential as she is undisputed.
Arielle is often referred to as Scotland's answer to
Annie Mac, which is an easy comparison to make.
Yet dig a little deeper and it's easy to see how Arielle
is carving out her own space in dance music...
Cutting her teeth in her formative years as the host
of Ministry of Sound's Radio Drive Time back in
2014/16, Arielle began to gain momentum and
caught the attention of the BBC. In 2018, Arielle was
brought in to cover Saturday's Dance Anthems,
making a lasting impression which reinforced her
claim to a highly coveted Radio 1 spot. It wasn’t long
before she gained the favour of the BBC who
promoted her to Early Breakfast host alongside
becoming the daytime face of Radio 1 Dance in
2020.
That same year, having already become one of the
UK's leading broadcasting and presenting talents,
Arielle burst onto the club scene with performances
at Printworks, Creamfields, Parklife, Glastonbury,
Lovebox & TRNSMT, not to mention her debut Ibiza
gig for the Radio 1 Weekend alongside Camelphat,
Kolsch, Annie Mac, Danny Howard & Solardo. Arielle
ended the year on a high with her most significant
set to date, closing the Edinburgh Hogmanay Street
Party for a crowd of over ten thousand revellers.
Now deep in the studio honing her craft, involving
sessions with some surprising artists and producers,
Arielle is slowly building a respectable batch of
records that are sure to make an instant impact
across the UK and beyond, further establishing her
as a figurehead and driving force in the dance music
world.
Influential, aspirational and undoubtedly one of the
hardest working women in the scene, Arielle Free
has constantly pushed herself from radio dj, to club
dj, to label owner, to producer and beyond!
Chase and Status are Will Kennard and Saul Milton. They are one of the most successful British bands of the past decade. Their ground-breaking debut album ‘More Than A Lot’ is certified Gold, and was followed by sophomore album ‘No More Idols’ - the second best-selling UK album by a British band in the year of its release. Having now surpassed double platinum status, ‘No More Idols’ included the smash hit UK top 5 single ‘Blind Faith’ featuring Liam Bailey, as well as UK top 10 ‘End Credits’ featuring Plan B. Chase and Status’ third studio album ‘Brand New Machine’ debuted at no. 2 in the album charts and spawned two top ten singles for the band.
2018 was the year the group celebrated the landmark of 15 years of Chase & Status and during that time they’ve released four acclaimed albums and a wide array of singles, remixes and original productions for other performers - criss-crossing the globe to perform incendiary live shows and DJ sets with sell-out tours, club and festival dates.
DJ BORING aka Tristan Hallis could be the most ironically named performer today: energetic journeys into forgotten gems and future classics, nothing about what he does is boring. He inhabits a space where throwback trance sits comfortably with old-school house, and Belgium Techno syncs with rolling funk. He meets each mix physically with sweaty, infectious performances that are compelling to watch.
In the studio, the producer has honed in on a contemporary sound paying homage to dance music's dense past. Whether its Detroit Techno-inspired or Chicago House layered with obscure Youtube samples, his productions are birthed in hardware and imbued with Hallis' energetic personality - humanity sorely lacking in many productions today. This trait shines through in his new live show where hardware and controllers become a natural extension of his creative self, a conduit through which he presents a fresh take on his music.
Eats Everything has a global reputation in both house and techno, yet his roots are firmly embedded in the garage, breaks and jungle of the music scene from his hometown, Bristol. A globetrotting DJ who can be found playing at Resistance, Elrow, Warehouse Project, EDC, Printworks, Boomtown and the odd very special b2b set with FatBoy Slim, usually at Glastonbury. An accomplished producer and remixer who is featured on PETS & Dirtybird, Desolat & Intec, Ovum & Kneaded Pains, Crosstown Rebels and both his own labels Edible and EI8HT. And not forgetting his duties as radio host and presenter on his own Edible Beats - his commitment to the dancefloor is unwavering.
Dan’s career defining moment was undoubtedly ‘Entrance Song’ back in 2011, which catapulted him into the limelight. Since then his array of infamous ‘Rebeef’ mixes, edits, originals cuts and collaborations demonstrate his production abilities, and lay the foundation for his extensive back catalog. His prolific approach to edits no doubt led to a classic Essential Mix made entirely of his own beefed up reworks, this was his second Essential Mix, the first artist to have two in the same year. Now with a residency on Radio 1, he’s fully integrated into the BBC Radio 1 family which he hosts alongside his own Edible Beats which is broadcast over 70 FM stations worldwide.
His first label, Edible was launched back in 2015, a label focused on good quality house music, think Melé and Paul Woodford. Then most recently he and Andres Campo launched EI8HT, techno injected with groove and funk (think Truncate). Both labels benefit from Dan’s refined ear.
Whilst there are many sides to Eats Everything, his core is the essence of rave culture. An artist who has always kept his feet firmly on the ground, with an unpretentious attitude which has landed him the title ‘Peoples Champion’ which has been demonstrated throughout his passion for charity work. Humble, good natured and full of endless laughs. Eats Everything continues to attract a dedicated army of loyal followers and family all over the world.

Effy was named as one of Pete Tong's Rising Stars and has attained blanket support on BBC Radio 1 & Radio 6 with Mary Anne Hobbs. Her debut EP Not What It Seems sees Effy stepping into the sounds she turns to when she DJs, as well as hearing that Prodigy influence with acid, rave and broken beat sounds.

Melé creates euphoric high-octane dance music inspired by his love of Brazilian beats, transatlantic hip hop and classic house music. The boy from the Wirral started young, learning to DJ aged 13; a decade on and he’s honed his skills and his 2015 tribal anthem ‘Ambience’ kick started his status as one of the new names to watch for in 2016. Melé’s energetic and unique percussive sound has gained him prolific support and recognition from some of the biggest names across the scene: Eats Everything, Patrick Topping, Tiga and Jackmaster to Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Disclosure, thus his tracks are becoming instantly recognisable in clubs across the world.
With forthcoming releases signed to Eats Everything’s sought after Edible imprint and the legendary house label Defected Records, the young producer continues to DJ around the world, supported by his regular DJ mix series Melé’s Manor Rhythms which have continued to grow his following purely from his impeccable ability and flair behind the decks as the perfect on-point party curator.

Following the recent finale of his acclaimed Motion event series, the UK producer looks set to take things to the next level throughout 2019.
